About the Photographer

  I was originally born in Pellville, Ky and moved to this area in 1985 and now Georgetown is my home. I have 2 children and 2 grandsons who are pure joy to me. I've been employed by AT&T since 1976 and looking forward to retiring.

  I've been interested in photography for 30 years or so taking family shots as well as landscapes. It was probably 2003 when I really started to get interested in portraiture. I had worked some portrait retouches for a photographer friend and fell in love with bringing the inner beauty of the individual out. Also about this time I switched to digital and my interest in photography was reborn.

  I use only Canon cameras, lenses, and flash. In the studio I use White Lightning strobes. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since 2000 and have attended several daily seminars, read several books, and spent countless hours practicing my techniques. I am currently a member of National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
